BIOGRAPHY:

Linda Stephanian was born in 1981 into an Armenian family in Tehran. From early childhood on, Linda has been encouraged by her family to explore the fields of arts - her mother being a gifted couturier; her father and brother enthusiastic jazz musicians.

Linda's career started at the "Kargah-e Honar" - art workshop - under the guidance of the great Iranian masters Shojaeddin Shahabi, Hamid Rezaei and Reza Amir Yar Ahmadi.
When Linda moved to the United Arab Emirates early 2006, Bulgarian sculptor Svilen Petrov rounded off her studies.

Linda explores forms in an unexpected diverse way: sometimes more compact, sometimes a dissolving fragility, her art always remains a truly harmonic and peaceful language. This inherent drive for a dynamic balance and, maybe, the femininity can be experienced in all her works independent from the media Linda is working in, whether it is clay, plaster or bronze.
